Questions operators actually ask.
Short answers about setting up, getting paid, renters, your team and your plan. Each one links to the full walkthrough when there's more to it.
Getting started
I only have two cars. Is this overkill?
Starter is built for exactly that: up to 5 vehicles and one login for ₱499 a month. The booking site, payments, deposits, handover photos, agreements and automations are all included. Compare plans.
Can I keep my Facebook page and Messenger?
Yes — keep them. Put your booking link on your page, and turn on the Messenger auto-reply: when renters send dates (“bukas”, “sa Sabado”, “Oct 3-5”) or ask “hm po?”, it answers with your live prices and a booking link. Most operators keep Facebook for marketing and let CeeRent handle the paperwork.
Do I need a website already?
No. You get a booking site at yourname.ceerent.com the day you sign up, and you build it in Site Builder. If you already have a website, paste the booking widget into it, or point your own domain at CeeRent. Publish your booking site.
Can I bring my vehicles and customers from Excel?
Yes. Save your sheet as CSV, then use Workspace → Import: vehicles, customers and upcoming bookings, up to 500 rows at a time. Every row is checked, and the ones with problems are listed so you can fix them. Import from a spreadsheet.
Does it work for scooters and motorbikes?
Yes. Motorcycles get a shorter photo check at handover (5 photos instead of 10), the licence check looks for code A, and number coding doesn’t apply to them. Add-ons like helmets and raincoats keep their own stock.
Will someone help me set up?
Yes. Book a free setup call — in Filipino or English — and we'll set up your vehicles, prices and policies with you. The Plus plan includes a setup call and priority Viber support.
Payments, deposits & fees
Do you take a cut of my bookings?
No. You pay a flat monthly subscription. Renters’ payments go through Xendit and settle to your own bank account; the only per-transaction cost is the payment method’s own fee (e.g. GCash, cards), deducted by the gateway.
What do I need to accept GCash and cards?
A DTI or SEC registration, a valid ID and a bank account for payouts. We open your Xendit account with you during setup. Their checks can take a few days, and you don’t have to wait: go live, and until you’re approved renters send booking requests that you accept and they pay at pickup. Online payment switches on by itself once Xendit approves you.
Which payment methods can my renters use?
Online: GCash, Maya, cards, QR Ph and over-the-counter. At the counter, your staff can also record cash, GCash, card or bank transfer against a booking, or show a QR Ph code from a payment link.
Can renters pay just a reservation fee?
Yes. At checkout renters can pay in full, pay 50% now and the balance at pickup, or pay only the deposit and settle the rental at pickup. You set the percentage in your policies.
How do deposits work?
Card and Maya deposits are held — reserved, not taken — and dropped after the return. Other methods are charged and refunded. A clean return releases the deposit straight away; if the return check proposes charges (fuel, extra km, late return, damage), you review them first. Your promise to renters is 24 hours by default, and renters can see it on their booking page.
What if a renter disputes a damage charge?
The renter has 48 hours to accept or dispute. If they dispute, you decide: uphold the charge, reduce it, or waive it — always with a reason the renter sees. The before-and-after photos from both handover checks are attached, and you can print a claim pack for insurance or small claims.
What do my renters pay in fees?
Online payments go through Xendit at their published PH rates for each method (e-wallets, cards, QR Ph, over-the-counter). The fee is deducted from each payment before it settles to you; renters pay the price shown on your site. CeeRent takes no commission. Xendit pricing ↗
Bookings & renters
Can two renters book the same car?
No. The calendar blocks overlapping bookings, plus a cleaning buffer between rentals (3 hours unless you change it), so a car can’t be double-booked from your site, the widget, Messenger or your desk.
How do I check a renter is who they say they are?
Renters upload their driver's licence and a selfie before pickup. You approve, ask for more, or reject in Customers — and at pickup your staff tick The person in front of me matches the verified customer. Once approved, a renter doesn't have to verify again with you.
What happens if the renter cancels?
Your cancellation policy decides the refund. By default, cancelling 48 hours or more before pickup is free; later than that, renters get 50% back. The refund goes back to the method they paid with.
What happens when there’s a typhoon?
When PAGASA raises a signal for your area, renters with a pickup there in the next 3 days are told and can change their dates or cancel with a full refund from their booking page. You can turn this Typhoon rule off in your policies (it’s on by default).
What languages can my booking site show?
English, Filipino, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. English is always on; turn the others on in Settings → Languages. Vehicle descriptions are drafted in each language for you to approve before they show.
Your team
Can my drivers see all my bookings?
No. Drivers and field staff see only the pickups and returns assigned to them, and the handover check. Front desk handles bookings, customers and refunds up to a limit you set; managers see everything except billing; the accountant role sees finance and reports only.
How are users counted?
Anyone who signs in counts as a user. Office users can do everything their role allows; field and driver users (₱99/mo) only see the handover app and their jobs; view-only users (₱49/mo) see reports — ideal for your accountant or a co-owner.
Plans & billing
What happens when the 14-day trial ends?
We remind you on day 10 and day 13. Nothing is charged until you pick a plan and add a payment method. If you don’t, your booking site stops taking new bookings and your dashboard goes read-only — your data stays for 90 days.
How can I pay for CeeRent?
Monthly plans renew automatically on a card or Maya. Yearly plans can also be paid once by GCash, QR Ph or bank transfer. You get a BIR-registered invoice by email for every payment.
Are the prices VAT-inclusive?
Yes. Every price on this page already includes 12% VAT. Add your TIN and registered name at checkout and they’ll appear on your invoice.
Are there setup fees or lock-in contracts?
No setup fees and no contracts. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time and run until the end of the month you paid for. Yearly plans are refundable pro-rata within the first 30 days.
What if my fleet grows mid-month?
Add a vehicle pack (+5 vehicles, ₱299/mo) or upgrade plans from Subscription. You only pay the prorated difference for the rest of the month. Downgrades apply at your next billing date.
Data & security
Is my renters’ data safe?
Licence photos and selfies are stored encrypted, only staff roles you allow can see them, and every approval or rejection is logged. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Security & privacy.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Yes — bookings, customers, vehicles, receipts and your audit log export to CSV any time. When you close your account we keep it for 90 days in case you change your mind, then delete it.
Can't find it? Search all help or book a setup call.

Tara, let's get your fleet online.
